Fluorocarbon elastomers have the highest heat, oil and chemical resistance in synthetic rubber. But because they dissolve or swell when they come in contact with particular fluids such as thinner, methanol, acetone, ethylene diamine, and sodium hydroxide, they cannot be used for seals. SUNELAST® I, has an excellent fluid resistance for those particular fluids listed above.
